The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) launched a new Web page for their GPS Interference Working Group. The group works in alliance with LightSquared the U.S. GPS Industry Council to "assess possible GPS interference by (the) LightSquared proposal."
This action comes after two congressmen submitted a letter last month asking the FCC to take more responsibility for the issue of LightSquared technology reportedly interfering with, and in some instances blocking, GPS signals.
